Quote from DeadWolfBones :The most annoying thing about the broadcast was that the Brazilian cameramen clearly weren't accounting for the "ticker" at the top of the screen on the American broadcast, so the tops of cars were routinely getting cut off by the position list.

At least you had a ticker. I had no idea where Rubens ended up after his last pit until the pileup at the restart!

Quote from Crashgate3 :It's actually a pretty valid point. Why do the letters' 'names' sound so different to the phonemes they represent?.

They don't. The problem is that you use latin letters with germanic sounds. In romance languages, they're pretty much spot-on.

Quote from Mustangman759 :If they are all americans they could attempt to suffocate it to death once it fills up on one of them

Then again, in that case they'd probably be armed in the first place.

I'm sorry, but when it comes down to people not knowing what to do with their cars, I have no sympathy at all. Cars can easily become huge weapons when put on the hands of inept drivers (a Volvo no less!). And boy, are those guys inept! In fact, calling them inept doesn't do them justice.

TBH, I made my mind up when I read the boy was tired of being bullied at school, so decided to move TO THE UNITED STATES!

The question isn't soecifically about bengal tigers, though.

Quote from rediske :I got it for a week now and don't want to give it away ever again!

A quick google, wikipedia or reading the news right out of the trouser pocket is really cool. Not to mention letting it recognize a song playing on the radio, and countless other little apps that are availlable for free...

That's what I cannot understand. In my mind, doing things like playing games or using the internet must involve big, noisy, clunky machines.

Quote from presidentblair :
Post which you think would win followed by an explanation or some reasoning. In this hypothetical scenario NO OBJECTS are available and the environment is an open area which doesn't advantage the men or the tiger. If there are some good replies, my friend and I will pick a winner.

There's no such thing as an open area that does not advantage the tiger - they were built to live in large, open areas. The humans should at least have a couple of Uzis to balance it out.

Quote from NitroNitrous :Does your computer fit in your pocket? Do you carry it everywhere everyday? That's why

I have a computer at my house and a computer at work. I also have a notebook which can easily be transported from one place to another. I can do anything I want anywhere I want. Maybe I can't create spreadsheets while on the bus to work, but then again, who on earth would like to work even before getting to work?

Quote from rediske :My first (cheapo) smartphone...

Samsung Galaxy Gio

I seriously cannot fathom how those things work. I had to buy a new cellphone this week (do people still use that word?) and went straight for a Sony Ericsson W100. It makes calls and plays mp3s with a good audio. That's all I've ever wanted from a mobile. The rest I can use my PC for.

Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :Probation makes it sound like a absolutely final warning though... As in "You really should be suspended, but we'll be lenient this time. As long as you don't mess up again, even a little bit."

I don't understand why they don't call it a warning if that's all it actually is. Because in my mind at least, there can be multiple warnings before a suspension.

AH, but you're forgetting that after probation comes the "suspended ban", and only then a real ban - which, of course, no one is stupid enough to get.

You mean Michael-Bay-Apçocaliptic-Action-Flick-With-Lots-Of-Over-Exposition cinematic correction. I still prefer the Amelie addon (easily achieved by turning off the blue and red gamma channels)

When they came to take me,there was nobody there to react.

Brecht

sorry if my translation is bad,i believe you get the point.

Brecht was a communist! That quote belongs to Martin Niemöller.

Have all cars race with side-mounted hoovers that sweep the marbles into the vehicle, which are then burned to generate extra hp.

Quote from JackDaMaster :Results are determined like in F1, by laps completed. The race wasn't red flagged. Only 7 cars finished all the laps.

If that was the case, the drivers who were still on the lead lap but behind 11th would all have finished ahead of Rubens and Helio, as they went through pitlane.

Quote from J@tko :Yeah, loved that traffic jam at the end

I'd like to know what method they use to determine the finish order. If they considered the session red flagged and used the last lap results, then RHR shoulçd probably fall behind Rubens et al. as well, shouldn't he?

Feel bad for Sato and Barrichello.

Great drive by Pagenaud.

Turns out they still ended up finishing in the top 10, didn't they?

Quote from Senninha25 :And Rosberg still squeezed two podium finishes out of the 2008 Williams, which wasn't a good car (at least after the early season). So there goes the travesty theory out the window.

Yes, because negotating a pitlane exit at 60mph, in dry weather, with no other car in sight, is known as a major challenge in every F1 driver's carreer.
